We are proud to celebrate another outstanding year of GCSE achievements across our Multi Academy Trust’s secondary schools.
St Benedict’s Catholic High School also celebrated excellent outcomes, with 66% of students achieving grade 4+ in English and Maths—above the national average. Religious Education remained a standout, with 33% earning grades 9-7. Pupils excelled in Spanish (44% grades 9-7) and History (29% top grades). Notable achievers include Nela Stefancinova with eight Grade 9s and Mackenzie Huddlestone with seven. Many students will progress to local providers, including the Magnificat Sixth Form at St Augustine’s.
Trinity Catholic School reported another year of remarkable dedication and success. Over 100 students sat exams across core and optional subjects, with numerous top grades (8s and 9s) in Mathematics, English Literature, Sciences, and creative subjects. EAL students showed impressive progress. Standout performers include Prabhveer Randhawa (nine GCSEs with multiple 9s), Moses Dean, Tobey Reynolds, Lucy Rayment, and others. Interim Headteacher Mr Alton highlighted the shared commitment to excellence and the strong support network.
St Augustine’s Catholic High School has delivered exceptional results well above national averages. Headteacher Luke Payton praised the students and staff for their commitment and resilience. Highlights include strong performances across all subjects, with disadvantaged students, those with SEND, and EAL learners achieving well above national peers. Individual successes include Bella Vale (4x9s, 6x8s), Nishel Justin (4x9s, Distinction*), Amélie Seager (5x9s), and Oliver Fisher (2x9s, 6x8s).
