As CEO, I understand the huge responsibility placed upon us to ensure that every child and young person benefits from the work that we do. I feel both humbled and privileged to have been chosen to lead Our Lady of the Magnificat Multi-Academy and am dedicated to preserving and developing Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Birmingham. Our organisation is a dynamic entity, which will continue to grow and adapt to enhance the lives of those who are working and learning within it, responding to the needs of our community and guided by the Catholic principles upon which our academies and Company are founded. Our Leadership Development Programme focuses upon providing participants with the skills required to be a leader of a successful, thriving Catholic School. The course will run throughout the academic year and draws from the considerable experience within the Our Lady of the Magnificat Catholic multi-academy. The next cohort will be launched in October 2023 and will consist of the following modules:
The modules will run every half term and alongside this, participants will be expected to complete the following:
1. A school improvement project that will support the development of their own school
2. Present to their governing body, at the end of the year, the outcome of their school improvement project
Modules will be delivered from 4pm-6pm in venues across the Our Lady of the Magnificat family of schools. Dates will be provided in due course.
Successful applicants will be invited to join the introductory meeting at The Magnificat Hub based at St Benedict’s Catholic High School, Alcester.
All candidates on the course must have the support of their Headteacher so in the first instance please arrange to discuss your interest with your Headteacher.
This course is open to applicants from outside of our Academy as well as employees of the Academy.

Costs
Each individual module costs £25 per session.
All 7 modules costs £150 – saving £25 if booking individually. Invoices will be raised to your school finance team.
