Nichola Damms

Assistant Director of School Improvement - Primary

Nichola has been part of the School Improvement team at Our Lady of the Magnificat since March 2023. She started her educational career in 2003 and she has worked in many leadership roles across 5 different schools. Having undertaken two headships in the past, she has experience of rapid school improvement that has led to successful outcomes in inspection judgements. In addition to these roles, Nichola is a CSI inspector for the Diocese. 

In her role as Assistant Director for School Improvement, Nichola works with a range of leaders across the MAC, unlocking their talents so that all pupils and reach their full potential. She works with Primary schools across the MAC to improve standards in the quality of education, personal development, behaviour and attitudes, leadership and management and Early Years provision. She facilitates professional development sessions and provide coaching and mentoring to staff, empowering them to become the best practitioners they can be.
