Giving Back

St Bede's Catholic Middle School have raised an amazing £2172 for 4 charities!!

The pupils pupils spent a day off timetable to raise money for Lenten Charities.  The charities chosen to support were Father Hudson’s Care, Ronald McDonald House, CAFOD and Alzheimer’s Society.

Pupils from each year group held mini fete’s, with lots of different stalls for other pupils to visit.  These ranged from ‘Name the Bear’, to cake stalls, sweet stalls, guess how many jellybeans are in the jar, golf game and lots of stalls selling delicious Indian and Polish food.  A great time was had by all – especially Charlie, who won the ‘Name the Bear’ competition – his answer ‘Police Bear’.

"We continue to be amazed by what our pupils do at St Bede’s. Not only have they raised an unbelievable amount of money for charity, but to see the hard work that has gone into the stalls/challenges on the day show how much pupils value charities and the work they do. This is all underpinned by the caring Catholic ethos of the school.”
