Sports Day 2023

Our annual Magnificat Sports Day was held on Friday 7th July, the sun came out and 310 pupils from across our schools came together.

The day was packed with sporting activities on the track and field.  We witnessed some amazing performances in every event.  Mr Quinn managed to sneak some autographs - he is convinced we saw some future Olympians!

Throughout the day their was cheering, encouragement, amazing sportsmanship, healthy competition but more importantly fun and lots of it!

The end of the day came around very quickly so our presentation was cut slightly short, however we did manage to announce the overall winners from each of our Year groups - they were:

YEAR 4:  St Marie's

YEAR 6:  St Bede's

YEAR 8:  St Bede's

YEAR 9:  St Augustine's

Huge congratulations to these schools taking home gold medals and the trophy!

Days like these are not possible without an army of people behind them, a massive thank you to the Catering Team, all the teachers who supported the day, all the support staff who organised behind the scenes, Mr Quinn for his stylish trophy presentation and Mr Russell who ran the full event.  You are all amazing!
